SATORI is the result of meticulous
study, patience, and stubbornness to
create a world-class spirit that appeals
to the most sophisticated palates.
Throughout a global exploration that spanned years, we experimented with dozens of distillates.
That crucial piece finally fell into
place upon the discovery of ancient
organic heirloom rice from my family’s
homeland and collaborating with
brilliant scientific minds.
I’m honored to present this tribute
to my heritage and eternally grateful to
everyone who has made this seemingly
impossible venture a reality.

Our Mission
Working together as a community,
the family farmers of the Cordilleras Terraces tend their delicate landscape based on cultivation methods passed down generation after generation.
But climate change and rural-to-urban migration is limiting their ability to preserve the ancestral traditions.
In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and collaborating with the PhilRice
Research Institute, Satori is committed
to bringing international recognition
to this region’s rare ultra-premium rice, enabling the people to flourish economically while still conserving biodiversity and this vital environment.

Mountain
Violet Rice
With its deep purple hue and toasty,
slightly nutty flavor, Mountain Violet Rice
is the most prized rice grown in the
ancient Cordilleras Terraces, and is
revered throughout the region for its
cultural and culinary importance.
Rich in anti-inflammatory antioxidants,
far exceeding those of red wine, this aromatic heirloom grain is distinct
in taste and texture and contains one
of the highest levels of anthocyanin
found in any food on earth.
